Other Local Shooting Glubs

Some of you enjoy shooting a wider variety of styles that River Oaks does not offer. Or maybe you wish to shoot your style more than once a month. The following are a few places that you may want to check out. The Range Pistol Club: In Fresno. IDPA is hosted there the 3rd Sunday night of each month. Usually runs 7-930pm. For information, email Glenn Yemoto.

Sacramento Defensive Pistol Shooters: Holds an IDPA match on the first Sunday of every month. Registration typically begins at 8:00 A.M., with shooting starting at 9:30 A.M. Matches are located at the Practical Pistol Range of the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. Email SDPS with any questions.

Mother Lode Gun Club: In Jamestown (Sonora) offers a wide range of shooting styles. Call (209) 984-4160 (leave message)  or Email their Webmaster

Richmond Hotshots: IPSC matches are held every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. They We also have "specialty matches"(ICORE, COWBOY, IDPA, LONG GUN and STEEL CHALLENGE matches) spread out during the course of the year. Email Questions or Comments

North Valley Sportsman's Association: IDPA matches the 3rd Sunday of every month except in December when there is no match. Matches begins at around 08:30 AM generally last until about 2:00-3:00 PM. Contact Club President Charlie Severance.

Redwood Practical Shooters: Appears to be just IDPA. Looks like a fun place to try out. Over by Ft. Bragg area.
